The Ida Room was spacious and cozy with a huge bed, private bathroom, and balcony. The owners welcomed us with cupcakes for our anniversary and the breakfast options were delicious. The location was perfect, within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and attractions.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. It is within walking distance to the downtown area, where you can find plenty of restaurants and shops. Additionally, it is conveniently close to the restaurants on the water, allowing you to easily explore the culinary scene.

Free Parking and Comfortable Bed My recent business trip was made better by the free parking and comfortable bed offered at the hotel. the hotel's location was also convenient for my needs, with easy access to nearby restaurants and shops. I liked the fact that the room was equipped with extra amenities like a coffee maker and free Wi-Fi.

Poor Breakfast and Unfriendly Staff Unfortunately, the hotel staff was not very friendly or welcoming. I also did not enjoy the breakfast, which was mediocre at best.

We had an amazing stay at Samuel Durfee House! The location was perfect for exploring Newport's sights, and the off-street parking made it hassle-free. Our room, the Ida Lewis, was cozy and comfortable with a spacious king bed and a private deck. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a variety of fresh options every day. The hosts, Michael and Heather, were incredibly welcoming and gave us great recommendations for things to do. We couldn't have asked for a better anniversary weekend!

Great value for money! This hotel is conveniently located close to all the downtown restaurants, and we never had to worry about finding parking in the private area. Our room had a pullout sofa and a private balcony where we enjoyed the serene surroundings. The breakfast was delicious and fresh!
